This long weekend is an Eagle Eye favorite. It will be ordered around times of silence, adoration, chanted Offices, Mass in God’s great wilderness, and spiritual talks. Get to know other Catholic young adults in the community while hiking and spending time together under the starry night sky. This backpacking group will hike to a remote location and spend 2 nights. This group requires the ability to sustain moderate all-day hikes.
This excursion is outfitted and guided by COR Expeditions. Registration includes meals and all necessary gear (tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, etc.) – just bring your clothes and yourself!
Participants flying in to San Diego must book flights that arrive by 2pm PST on Thursday, December 1st and depart after 7:30pm PST on Sunday, December 4th. (Transportation to/from the airport is available for an additional $50 – limit 13 participants due to vehicle restrictions)
Local participants should arrive at Anza Borrego State Park between 4-7pm PST.
**If you cannot arrive until 7pm PST, there is no need to hesitate from registering. We will be having greetings, setting up tents, Mass + dinner until 7pm PST. The orientation will begin shortly after 7pm PST.
