As Catholics, should we fight to reclaim the public square?
Join us August 30, 2023 at 7pm for Dare2Dialogue: a forum for deep discussion on serious issues.
People don’t talk to each other any more. We live in a world of soundbites and shouting over each other. The sides are polarized, making it difficult to find what unites us instead of what divides us. Even most podcasts offer only one point of view. What if there was a place to dig deeper into the issues we face today? At the Saint John Leadership Institute, we are offering that opporunity. Will you join us?
Let’s have a discussion on the Catholic’s call to involvement in politics.
Brought to you by the Saint John Leadership Institute. 4775 S. Pearl Street, Englewood CO
There are multiple ways to look at this question. One way is to say that politics is “the city of man, not the city of God”—in other words, render unto Caesar… Another viewpoint is to say that Jesus told us to go out to the world and make disciples-look for the lost sheep. What are your thoughts? Join us for a deep conversation on this topic. Our panelists will be xxx who leans toward the “city of God” perspective and yyy who leans toward the “go make disciples” perspective. Let’s Dare2Dialogue on this topic.
There will be 60 minutes of discussion, 30 minutes for audience Q&A and 30 minutes of fellowship and refreshments at the end. Free will offering for this inaugural event. Seating is limited to 20 people.
